Our three candidates Johanna-Sophie from Braubach, Marie from Bornich and Wiebke from Neuwied presented themselves in front of a jury in the afternoon. They had to respond to questions about wine growing, wine making, wine marketing and our region itself. The interview included a blind tasting of the three Riesling Charta wines. The evening event in front of a 170 people audience included various games and fun questions and focused on entertainment. At approximately 10pm Marie was officially proclaimed 50th Mittelrhein Wine Queen.

On the same evening we bid our 2018/2019 royalties Johanna, Lara and Julia goodbye. They have done an outstanding job representing our wines, our wine makers and our entire wine region over the period of one year. We thank them for their invaluable service and wish them all the best for their future endeavours.
