Between Johannisberg & the Marienthal Monastery lies our winery Ostermühle. Right at the forest's edge, our farm invites you to enjoy a quiet glass of wine and some small dishes, while a large play area also offers various experiences for children.

Due to the proximity to the Rhine, Ostermühle serves as a starting or ending point for hikes to Johannisberg Castle (about two kilometers), Vollrads Castle (about four kilometers), Hildegardis Monastery (about seven kilometers), and even Eberbach Monastery (about eleven kilometers).

Far away from everyday life, you can enjoy Rheingau wines & suitable dishes in our farm tavern – which is open from Easter to early October. Our wine shop is of course open daily!
