Vinothek Bingen am Rhein
Hindenburganlage 2, 55411 Bingen am Rhein
In 2008, a wine shop was built for the Landesgartenschau in Bingen. Here, at the gateway to the UNESCO World Heritage Site Upper Middle Rhine Valley, stands a modern pavilion made of glass, steel, and wood, creating a charming contrast to the idyllic and scenic beauty of the Rhine banks. Philosophy An elegant yet simple ambiance with a magnificent terrace that offers a view of the Rhine and the surrounding vineyards. This is where winemakers and wine enthusiasts come together to create this unique tasting center for Bingen wines. Six wineries are represented in the wine shop: Herbert Bretz, Dreikönigshof, Bernhard Grünewald, Hildegardishof, Rudi Huber, and Kastell Wein Kunst & Schönes. Enjoying, tasting, and comparing is particularly pleasurable with this selection. Special Features Anyone wishing to taste the variety of Bingen wines will find the Bingen wine shop to be the perfect place. Additionally, interesting guest winemakers regularly present their wines. Furthermore, culinary delights and events are featured throughout the wine year. In summer, the most sought-after spots are on the terrace and directly by the Rhine, with views of the Mouse Tower, the ruins of Ehrenfels, and the Niederwalddenkmal.
