The city wall at Salhofplatz holds an art historical treasure. A 2.40-meter long medieval limestone relief has been embedded in an arch of the city wall since 1966. It is the former door arch filling of the west portal of the Romanesque Martinuskirche from the 12th century and depicts Christ as the world judge on a throne supported by small columns, surrounded by four saints.
