It all started with Heinrich Kahl and his eel shocker in 1949. He transported sand and gravel from the Rheingau to Oberwesel.

In 1958, Hugo Kahl took over the business, and from then on the first truck was used for transports.

From 1979, son Gunter Kahl was at the helm and handed over the business to his children Uwe and Eva Kahl in 2024.

The company is now run in the 4th generation.
