Surrounded by vineyards, right by the Rhine, Oberwesel is located in the middle of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Upper Middle Rhine Valley. The first glimpse of travelers visiting our town from the nearby Loreley is drawn to the Schönburg above Oberwesel, the large churches of Our Lady and St. Martin, and the well-preserved historic city wall with its 16 defensive towers that shape the medieval cityscape.
Several premium hiking trails pass through here, through vineyards along the Rhine, or up into the Hunsrück through side valleys. Guided hikes, as well as bike tours, are also offered from Oberwesel.
You will find our new, well-equipped vacation apartment, available for the first time in June 2025, in a quiet side street on the ground floor of our house, separated from the city wall by a small house garden. From the large covered balcony, your gaze falls on the small Beckbohmerturm and the mighty Ochsenturm at the northern city entrance. Just 50m away, you can reach the Rhine promenade, which invites you to walk and cycle.
In our apartment, there is an open kitchen and living area with an adjacent balcony, a bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, and a second bedroom with a
sleeper option. A technical room with a washing machine and dryer for your holiday laundry and a guest toilet are also located on this living level. All rooms feature underfloor heating and soundproof windows, ensuring restful sleep.
For your bicycle, there is a storage option in the basement.
By arrangement with the landlord, a pick-up service from the train station is possible.
