Altes Rathaus St. Goarshausen
Burgstraße 7, 56346 Sankt Goarshausen
The old town hall was built in 1532 and was the town hall and school until 1847, when it became private property and was rebuilt into three individual houses. Today it is a branch of the registry office with a wedding room and can be rented for celebrations.
The Old Town Hall is the heart of the old town of St. Goarshausen and dates back to 1532, so the building is now over 400 years old. Until 1847 it served as a town hall and school building, then it passed into private ownership. After appropriate alterations, three residential houses were built from it. Today, the old town hall serves as a branch of the registry office and is an official wedding room. In addition, it can be used for private celebrations.
The wedding room is located on the upper floor, nestled in an alcove, in the hall of the Old Town Hall. The hall holds about 40 people and is equipped with enough tables and chairs. The kitchen has enough place settings, including cutlery.
The Old Town Hall is managed by the Citizens' Initiative Old Town. For inquiries for bookings or similar, please contact the city administration of St. Goarshausen, telephone 06771 - 802 816.
